Finding the Truth of God |
God has a magnificent plan for you and this plan is beyond what we can do
for ourselves. To start with, you must come to an understanding that God is in control,
available for you always, with tender love and mercy. Your understanding of this is
based upon a listening ear, humbleness and prayer (simply talking to God). We will learn
together how this happens.
The Foundation of the Truth
The Basis of Truth from the Scriptures
All Scripture is given by inspiration
of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good
work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17

The Test of the Truth
Beloved, do not believe every
spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have
gone out into the world.
By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that
confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that
does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the
spirit of the Anti-christ, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the
world.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them,
because He who is in you is greater that he who is in the world.

The Testimony of the Truth
And this is the testimony: that
God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has
life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
... And we know the Son of God has come and has given us
an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in
His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
